araRight, so, guess what came in the mail today??
Spooks Season 7! (Yes, I know that's from 2008 - being a US fan sucks :/) It was just released here, and we just got the first two discs from Netflix! *is super excited*
I admit, I was very, very sad to see Adam Carter die in episode 1. I knew it was coming, but... I've grown very fond of him, despite a rocky start. (Tom will always be my secret favorite :p). But LUCAS NORTH!!!! Hotdamn, it's Guy of Gisborne without the (gu)eyeliner! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!?! I'm really liking him a whole lot so far, even if he is Adam's replacement...even though it was only one episode, I really liked the Adam-Lucas dynamic. Wish it could've lasted a little longer, but then, Adam's death was so well-written I don't even mind that much. But Jo! Oh my Jo, what are they doing to her??? *sigh*
So yes, I'm in a very, very, very happy place right now! SPOOKS FTW!
(and we'll just forget that pretty much my entire f-list is AR or Merlin fans, and I have no idea if any of you care about Spooks...ah well, have to squee to someone :p)

Spooks is about British spies working for MI5. I have to say, it's pretty much my favorite TV show, hands down. So intense! :D

But I still wanted more time with my bb Adam! :'( still... seeing RPJ/Richard Armitage together for one episode was a gift!
From what I remember, that series was SO GOOD! S8 has finished over here and I miss Spooks already.

Date: 2010-02-20 09:22 am (UTC)I just finished S7, and I'm watching S8 on youtube...I mean, when they stuck Harry in the trunk of a car to be delivered to the Russians, there was just no option of waiting an entire year :p
AHHH, I just love the show so much! It just never gets old. It's so intense and fun and the characters die all the time! lol
