Still a day left of signups!

Just found 1500 words of Merlin/Arthur band camp+hs!au lurking on my hard drive. And hey, it's actually not too bad.

I must finish this shenanigans, I think.

So, the big bang front is looking kind of scary. I decided it's motivation tieme! Because I have been extra lazy and handwritting a lot, and that's all very well and good except it, uh, kind of needs to be typed up, I have gotten myself a shiny progress bar of awesomeness for my typed word count. It is scary /O\ BUT I WILL PERSERVE.

My plan for the weekend is to type up everything I've got, so next week I can focus on new stuff, instead of being all 'what happened in that scene again?' and 'where the hell did that random scrap of paper go‽'.

This is completely random (and possibly ill-advised), but:

I'm thinking of making a merlin/arthur animated mood theme. I have the one wikked_angel_78 made right now, but that's only S1, and I know she's closed it for downloading.  So I guess I'm wondering if there'd be any interest?  I'm half-considering making it purely for my personal use, but it is very time consuming, so it'd be nice if it got a bit more use. What do you think?

Signed up for reel_merlin  today! I snagged Taking Woodstock, which I wanted so very badly, so I am super excited! 

spy_fest  is coming together well.  annephoenix has been an absolute star co-modding.  ILU bb!  We have several submissions, and quite a few just-need-to-be-beta'd fics.  Now if I could just get to writing my fic...

Still working on my fic for dk323 - I have been a bit crap at getting it done quickly, but it moves along slowly but surely.  Future!Merlin and Arthur are having some good times *nods*

Also still working on those requested drabbles - I just need to type them up really!

And I'm doing merlin20in20 again - for Arthur (Bradley) & merlinicons100 for Colin Morgan. I'm really quite pleased with how some of my recent icons have been turning out.  I feel I'm improving ^_^

AND OMG TEAM MOTHERFUCKING MERLIN WON ROUND THREE AT merlin_land. We are just too awesome :p

GAH! Why did signing up for NaNoWriMo seem like a good idea at the time? lol I'm behind already, so I think this weekend I'll be playing catch-up. Still, it's worth it if I do manage to churn out my epic-length M/A fic. Which could happen, truefax. It is steampunk!AU after all, which is pretty motivating I must say. I mean, there's just so much to play with! But yeah, anyways, I've pretty much put everything else on hold for the month of Novemeber (unless I get really freaking inspired to write more of my college Merlin fic).

Also, I am very, very excited for tomorrow's Merlin episode. Like, really freaking excited people! I shall take a break from my lazing-about-cause-it's-Saturday and frantically-writing-nano-fic to watch it. And guh, yay for Arthur hugging dragging Merlin. Though, if Gaius dies, I will figure out a way to throw the show across the room I will! I don't care that it's not a book, it will so happen!

And also, I am now obsessed with indie music. I found this list on itunes of like 97 songs or something, and let's just say I'm in a very happy place right now, especially cause it goes well with my current AAR fanatasism. Really, I can't help but just be happy listening to my iPod these days :D

But ANYWAYS...on to TEH SHINY:

So, basically, I was bored the other day, and I decided that making Merlin icons was an excellent way to procrastinate (especially with NaNoWriMo - procrastination has become even more of a fine art, let me tell you!). And I had some screencaps I download a long time ago to revel in the prettiness. And I saw Photoshop CS4 sitting there looking at me innocently. And, well, 53 icons later, here we are.

Also I would like to tell you that I've managed to develop even more of an obsession with Bradley and Colin's eyes. They're just...so pureettty! :p

So I'm currently having phun with photoshop cause I found some awesome resources, and well, nyxelestia sort of *cough* encouraged me to make something for Merlin, and well, I was doing this coldplay-apple style tutorial at the time, so yeah...
